My Story

Like a lot of people, my love for animals started as a kid. I didn't realize however that an unfortunate event, in which my hamster was mauled by our neighbors' cat, would be the actual catalyst to pursuing a career with animals. Initially, I went to college with the goals of becoming a veterinarian but had a change of heart last minute which landed me back in LA with no real career path. Eventually, I took a receptionist position at a dog training facility in Hollywood. Before I knew it, I had gone from their receptionist to one of their lead trainers by 2018. Over the next couple of years, I continued garnering life experience working with 100's of owners and dogs, before Covid hit. Along with the whole world, I had no idea what was going to happen; the facility unfortunately closed temporarily due to health code regulations. I thankfully, had clients whose dogs still needed to be trained regardless of the entire world coming to a pause; so, I gradually started taking on clients on my own either virtually, with the dogs one on one; or outdoors being mindful of social distancing. Then came the pack hikes. that really is where my business took off; owners loved seeing photos of their dogs on off-leash hikes; what started out as a pack of 4-5 dogs has grown to about 30 now. In summer 2025, we started renovations on our own training facility and hoping to offer group classes this summer!
